Located in the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire within extensive, picturesque rolling parkland; we are a HMC and IAPS co-educational day and boarding school for children aged from 3 to 18. We have recently been awarded Excellent status by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
We educate 400+ children across our Nursery, Junior and Senior Schools, with boarding starting in Year 7.
Life at Rendcomb College encourages young people to embrace as many experiences as possible through our holistic approach.
We encourage Rendcombians to be actively curious about the world, embrace the adventure of school life and celebrate their differences and individual traits. We provide breadth in our co-curricular provision, enabling pupils to identify their strengths and aptitudes.
Rendcomb provides a pastoral framework that creates physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, preparing pupils for life beyond College, fostering confidence, resilience and critical thinking.
As parents and teachers, the most precious thing we can do is give children the freedom to learn and develop and enjoy the adventure of growing up. At Rendcomb College, pupils are free to be themselves and free to take on big challenges because they know that to FAIL is only the First Attempt In Learning.
Our pupils are free to explore academically or literally on a 230 acre site with a Forest School, a Wilderness and with many outdoor activities and leadership opportunities. Pupils are free to build lasting friendships in a community that nurtures individuality within the safe-keeping of Rendcomb College
We have three main entry points at Year 7, Year 9 and Year 12. Entry into other year groups is also possible dependent on availability. We recognise that family circumstances and commitments don’t always fit into the school year and we do welcome applications throughout the year.
It is important that you make the right choice for your family and the Admissions Team is here to help you do just that.
I am not alone in thinking that Rendcomb is a very happy and special place and would like to invite you to come and see for yourself.
We encourage all families to visit Rendcomb College and acknowledge that seeing the school first-hand is instrumental in the decision making process. Our open events throughout the year will give you the opportunity to view Rendcomb College in action and to experience all that we have to offer.
During a visit, you will be met by the Admissions Team, followed by an appointment with our Head of College, Mr Rob Jones or one of his deputies. A personal tour of the College, conducted by one of our current pupils or a member of staff allows you to experience the school day, meet with teaching staff, and ask any questions to our greatest assets; the
